We review the new single from Kaiden Nolan -Move

Dance grooves, guitar moves, and an all-around funky tune, Kaiden Nolan brings us his brand new debut single ‘Move’!

The Manchester singer-songwriter sings a narrative of making tough decisions and ‘moving on’ in life by using a track that literally makes you want to get up and move. With its well-produced shifting dynamics and intriguing structure, it keeps you guessing right up until the end.

After four years of playing in a band, this is his first proper venture as a solo artist, and he’s come out strong.

Kaiden himself calls the single ‘an attempt to marry the Alternative sounds of ‘Foals’ & ‘The XX’ with 80’s Disco beats inspired by Gino Soccio & Giorgio Moroder’. You certainly get the sense of all those influences in the song, but I think Kaiden could also take more credit for his sound. If there’s anything you want from him going forward it would be to own his originality and continue to try and give us something that could take us by surprise.

Fortunately, Kaiden has a busy release schedule planned, so we’ll have plenty more to bop along to in the near future.
