Sheffield’s Kieran Doyle has released a festive tune for everyone to enjoy this holiday season. It’s joyous, upbeat, and gets you in the mood for Christmas!
Kieran started his musical journey in 2019 and has since recorded tracks at the Abbey Road Studios as well as performing at festivals such as Holmfirth Folk Festival. He was late starting his career in music but has certainly made up for it over the last couple of years.
Everybody Dance (It’s Christmas) opens with a drum beat and acoustic guitar, which hooks you in straight away. We are then greeted to the an electric guitar which sounds perfect for this track. Kieran’s vocals come in soon after, which could be more upbeat for a Christmas song as they sound a bit monotone for this sort of song, but other than that they tie the song together nicely. The whole song is rock and blues inspired which you can clearly hear.
As we get halfway through the track, the song becomes more danceable and you will definitely be singing about Christmas with Kieran after just hearing the repetition of ‘Christmas is here again, Christmas is here again’. I think it’s nice and something different Kieran has done as not many people release new Christmas songs anymore, which is a shame, but Kieran’s take reminisces on old times with what I can only assume as friends and family at parties, which will also get you thinking about those precious times.
Overall, this track is fun and filled with joy. It’s definitely a positive, cracking tune from Kieran. Why not check out more stuff from Kieran and see what other songs he has out?!
