MERCY KELLY

WE REVIEW THE NEW SINGLE FROM MERCY KELLY

Formed in the winter of 2019 in Greater Manchester, Mercy Kelly is a 5-piece rock band. They are known for their stirring mix of Chameleon-esque guitar sounds and stadium-sized melodies. While it started as an acoustic songwriting partnership between frontman Jack Marland and lead guitarist Adam Bridge, Mercy Kelly has since expanded.

Indeed, they welcomed new members Joel Buckley, Leon Hepke, and Jack Brogan on bass, drums, and rhythm guitar respectively.

MERCY KELLY

Mercy Kelly is back with their first release of 2024, the indie rock song “All You’ve Ever Known”. The track’s standout moment is its chorus, which has a choir-like vibe, with the different voices singing in unison.

This infusion of vocal harmonies brings grandeur to the track and transforms “All You’ve Ever Known” into a perfect stadium anthem – we can almost hear the crowd singing along. Moreover, as we can expect for a rock song, the band’s guitar skills are on full display, with electrifying riffs and dynamic chord progressions.

With its indie rock aesthetic, powerful chorus, and instrumentation skills, “All You’ve Ever Known” is a great example of Mercy Kelly’s signature sound. The song will stay in your head long after the end and it’s always a good sign when it comes to music.
