Sunderland based band have released their new track Safety & Skeletons and its an alt-rock emo anthem!
With over 1,000 followers on social media, this pop-punk band are certainly doing something right. The four-piece band have played numerous shows and also have a upcoming album launch show coming out on the 20 September! Exciting things are happening for this band.
Safety & Skeletons is hard-hitting, has insane guitar work, and the vocals have that pop-punk edge to them that we all can’t get enough of, especially you elder emo’s! At the start of the song we are greeted with the drums coming in and setting the tone for the song, with vocals in the background that grip you as soon as you listen to it, it makes you wonder how this band can make the song sound even better. Pop-punk is back, that’s for sure!
It’s clear this song is about feeling lonely and by yourself, having no one to understand you or what you are about. The band have lyrically summed these feelings up perfectly. The instrumental is upbeat with the lyrics having a deeper meaning, which is quite famous within the pop-punk scene but NINEBANKS have made this their own. The song is delightful and I would definitely add this track to my playlist and share it around to others. It definitely deserves a lot of attention as these lads are talented!
