From the outset, this song is so raw and powerful in its delivery and its other-worldly presentation. I’m not even completely sure what genre to pin this to initially, it has such a powerful sound with the huge guitar tones and the drums ticking away in the back.
‘Lucid In The Fall’ does definitely display some great production work too! The only comment I would make is the balance between certain elements of the track in places. I would personally have liked to hear some more vocal effects and some different sounds in the vocal mix but that’s completely personal preference!
A really solid track, an incredible piece of music. This track which is a collaboration of musicians and was mastered at the renowned Metropolis Studios is a proper powerhouse of a track with some real raw emotion behind it.
Written about a time we know all too well about with themes surrounding the UK lockdowns, ‘Lucid In The Fall’ is quite the relatable track in many ways discussing issues which many of us may have forgotten about. However, Plastic Barricades bring these issues back to the front of our mind in a quite brilliant way with their latest single. Utterly incredible writing.
