The UK Rap scene has expanded over the years, but one artist to check out is Six Bandit. He brings a new infectious energy to the scene that will have you playing their music on repeat for days!
The Plymouth artist has released Swim It Out, the second single off his upcoming debut album, which showcases lots of talents, from the lyrics to mixing a perfected instrumental. Six Bandit has really gone full out with this track with the help of his good friend Joshua Lloyd, who is already in the music business. Six Bandit also had X18 produce his tracks. The track includes heavy lyricism about staying in your own lane, and from what I gathered within this song it’s all about being true to yourself.
The instrumental is what you would expect from a rap song. It’s got that nice chill vibe, similar to what $uicideBoy$ use in their songs, and carries you across the songs so gracefully. The only thing that I would change within this song is less autotune on the introduction and throughout the chorus. I think it spoils the song a little bit, it does work in some places but I think it has been used a fair amount within this song.
Overall, the song is cracking. It’s got a summer vibe to it and I think many people who are into their rap stuff are going to absolutely love this one! Get streaming Swim It Out and stick it in your playlists!
