Stephen Mugford FROM BOSTON USA is a rising singer-songwriter after releasing his jazz-inspired debut album, Palooza Beach, in 2024. His song Easy to Love is just one of the four live renditions of his songs that has been recently released, and it is splendid.
Easy to Love has a warm feel to it. The song starts with a gentle acoustic guitar being strummed by Stephen whilst his heavenly vocals make an everlasting appearance in the song. His vocals are soft and set the tone for this song as it calm all the way through.
As we get more into the song, we are greeted by a beautiful pianist playing the keys that fit perfectly into the song, it gives the track an upbeat feel to it and we see Stephen’s jazz side to the song. The song speaks about how easy it is love someone even when you’re in certain different moods that can appear as though you don’t love them. This track is so trouble-free and easy-going, it makes it such an enjoyable listen.
The ending to the song is fun. Stephen describes what love is like for him ‘like falling out of bed so easy, I love, love, loving you’, this just adds a nice touch to the song as it makes you think about a certain person who makes you feel this way, which is a nice sentiment to the song. Stephen has serious real talent and it would be a shame to miss out on what he brings out next, so get streaming his discography!
