Ever catch yourself day dreaming, staring out the window acting like you’re in a music video when you listen to a certain song? Well, indie-rock band – Strawberry Lemonade – have just dropped a new single that will have you feeling exactly like this. Their latest track is sure to have you feeling all kinds of emotions with just how powerful and catchy this song is.
These Manchester-based lads certainly know how to piece a song together as I have had it on repeat since first hearing the track! Its eerie intro is so captivating and just draws you in followed by the punchy guitar and gripping vocals from Cal Walsh. The vocals have some kind of grainy effect to them – something Gorillaz would use in their songs which makes me absolutely love this unique track. The drums give the song it’s quirky rock appeal adding quality and an explosive rhythm to this indie-rock song.
I just can’t get enough of this track, it’s one of them songs you know you can just listen to on repeat and never get bored of. The lyrics tell a story too, you can really feel the passion in these lyrics as they are sung with such a dynamic tone and are just insanely melodically beautiful. You can tell this band are definitely going places!
As the song progresses, we are greeted to this heavenly, angelic sound that reminds me heavily of Kasabian. This song is accompanied by not only the lyrics, and instruments but also the absolute talent that beams out of it. These lads certainly deserve all the praise they can get.
Strawberry Lemonade will stand out to you, bringing those well needed indie-rock vibes to your playlists and before you know it, they’ll be in your Spotify Wrapped at the end of the year. So, what you waiting for? Get streaming their latest single, and find yourself your new favourite band!
