Off the back of a stellar Summer in gigs and festivals so far, Doncaster fourpiece The Denabys are set to release their latest belter Greenlight.
Unlike their three singles prior, this new song launches The Denabys into a heavier space within the alt-indie scene, where they are sure to sit quite comfortably.

Greenlight opens with a scratchy guitar riff before bursting into life through rising drums and a bass slide. This kind of intro runs adjacent to that quintessentially British indie-rock sound, and it’s clear the boys have cracked the formula.
From there on out, the song masterfully builds in a repetitively driving force broken up between punchy vocal verses and instrumental breaks.
This tune is catchy from start to finish. It holds a stark lyrical tension that’s reflected by a frenzy of rocking instrumentals. Fans will agree that Greenlight will be no stranger to crowded rooms with sweaty bodies and a banging mosh pit.
