We review the new single from The K’s – Picture

After a whirlwind of a summer, touring and playing festivals up-and-down the country, The K’s have finally made their return with their latest single, ‘Picture’, which sees the band make a triumphant comeback.

Picture’ sees The K’s take the listeners hand and placing them at the center of their world, opening with an intriguingly gentle guitar intro that then paves the way for the chaos to ensue. As Jamie’s vocals take centre stage, it’s clear that the band’s individual personalities have come into play within ‘Picture’.

Written about the relatable situation of accidentally making your ex aware that you’re thinking of them by sending a text which wasn’t meant to be sent, ‘Picture’ brings something new to the band’s already exciting sound palette whilst remaining signature to The K’s.

Well known for their electric live performances, The K’s have had a massive year. Alongside their headline tour with This Feeling, the band have played high-profile support slots for James and Australian heroes DMA’s.

If ‘Picture’ is anything to go by, 2022 is set to be even bigger for The K’s. January sees the band embark on a 14 date UK tour, stopping off at some of the countries most iconic venues before playing slots at Stockholm’s Lollapalooza and also Kendal Calling.
