The Rolling People

WE REVIEW THE NEW SINGLE FROM THE ROLLING PEOPLE – GRATEFUL FOR NOTHING

British indie-rock band The Rolling People ends 2023 on a high note with the release of “Grateful For Nothing”. The four 18-year-old men from Stockport graced us with a rebellious track.

They push us to be grateful for nothing with their new anthemic release. Indeed, the song delves into the manifestation of power, frustration, and the idea that life is not something to take for granted. The message is simple, The Rolling People wants us to break free from the monotony of daily life. As well as encouraging us to take control of our destinies and follow our dreams – something more of us should do.

“Grateful for Nothing” kicks off with a mesmerizing guitar on top of an upbeat rhythm, followed by a powerful chorus that exudes contagious happiness and excitement.

Another good point for the band: the song’s length. While it seems to be getting the norm to see songs shorter than 3 minutes, I can only praise The Rolling People’s effort of creating a longer track.

All in all, the band is on a meteoric rise and shows no sign of slowing down. Their previous single, ‘Better Man’, brought the band to the national eye earlier this year, earning them a spot as one of the hottest new-coming acts in the country. On top of that, they’ve been getting recognition for their live performances, selling out 3 consecutive headline shows in Manchester and sold-out shows in London, Sheffield, Leeds and Glasgow.

If you’re ready to reject the ordinary and embrace life, The Rolling People’s new track might be just what you need.
