We review the new single from You, Me and Him ft Lydia Clowes – Going Home

A collaborative project sent straight from paradise, South-East London based musicians Jim Newman and Max Goff team up for another stylish release.

A genuine collective that use music to convey their own personal experiences and energy, this band feel like a blessing and something to turn to when things are tough. Called You, Me & Him, this glistening outfit consistently evolve with each release.

Titled ‘Going Home‘, the track is taken from a forthcoming album called ‘Standing in the Wrong Place’ and features vocalist Lydia Clowes working her magic.

Based around an alternative country soundscape, the track also has folk roots that feel in the same vein as folk legends John Martyn and Neil Young.

An authentic offering that uses a natural arrangement that comes across as raw and real, ‘Going Home’ is the golden number that states folk music will never end. Breathtakingly original, the single feels like home and a safe haven to block the noise out. Compared to the watered-down pop industry, the new attire from You, Me & Him specialises in letting listeners interpret it however they want.
