We review the new single ‘The One’ by Stay For Tomorrow

Delivering a powerful message with vivid new single ‘The One, energetic quartet Stay For Tomorrow are motivating fans up and down the country. Inspired by iconic indie outfits from the noughties, Stay For Tomorrow burst with enthusiasm and personality. Receiving praise from publications all across the globe, we’re certain you’ll stay until tomorrow simply because of its addictive nature.

Whilst the track is elevating and armed with a swagger momentum, the track talks about battling negative thoughts and overcoming your demons. If we’ve all figured out something over the past 20 months, it’s that looking after your mental health and your well-being, in general, is so important. A relatable track that people can familiarise themselves, the track is there to inspire and deliver a message of hope throughout the time times.

Allowing to show a different side to the band, ‘The One’ showcases how diverse Stay for Tomorrow’s songwriting truly is. Musically, the track is bathed with infectious melodies and a charismatic slide guitar, but it’s the distinctive Scottish vocals that steal the limelight. In places, it feels like the track stays safe and doesn’t complex as well as hoped, but saying that, the execution is breathtaking and another standout moment for the band.
