WE REVIEW THE NEW SINGLE WANNA BE FROM THE RAPPORTS

Raucous and energetic are two words to best sum up The Rapports’ new release.
There’s nothing wanna be about this track, they cement legendary status with
mother string to their bow.

The melodies are engaging and will bury their way into your head for days to come. The
stitar line is something that The Libertines would kill to have in their discography. The
Brighton based band may be a fine indie outfit, but they certainly curve through elements of
alternative rock and singalong melodies too.

Pulsating rhythms and an uplifting soundscape, this track is all about wanting to make it.
Whether that’s making it in the music industry or however you want to interpret it, that’s
what makes this track special, you can put your own spin on it.

The lead vocals may feel eclectic in parts but they’re certainly diverse and instantly
recognisable as The Rapports.

I feel to broaden their indie rock style even further, the band could use complex chord
progressions just to break the boundaries. Indie rock is such a hectic industry at the
moment and making it is becoming tougher and tougher.

Saying that I reckon The Rapports could, you know.
