Say hello to Bolton based 5-piece band Finding Gaz, who have just released their new track Windows Down and it’s a funky track that takes us back in time to the 2000s with their musical sound.
The indie-soul band have been together for over 2 years now and have played gigs in Bolton, Manchester, Atherton, and Wigan plus many more places and have drawn themselves a following, which is great for a small band like these guys!
Windows Down has a mixture of instruments blended so well that anyone could get along with this track. The band go straight into the track with the vocals, guitar, bass, and drums. The sound is very unique and original. I haven’t heard a song like this since Rizzle Kicks were big in the 2010’s. Finding Gaz are bringing new, experimental tracks for a whole new generation. The use of piano in the song also gives it another edge. It has such a groovy vibe, the piano was just the icing on the cake for me.
As we get about 30 seconds into the track, there is a rap section from one of the vocalists and it compliments the track flawlessly. It gives the track a bit of spice that connects the track together. Towards the end of the tune the use of electric guitar is introduced as well as hard-hitting drums which accommodates the guitar superbly. The whole composition is catchy. It grabs your attention no matter how far in you are within the song, there is something that will make you go ‘ooh okay! I like this!’, which is fantastic for a small band.
