WHAT A BRILLIANT NEW VIDEO FROM TILLERMAN – NIGHTS IN WHITE SATIN.

It’s another RGM video showcase, today we have the new video from Tillerman and their new video – Nights in white satin.

Here are a few words about the video, enjoy!👊

This is a reimagining of the 1967 Moody Blues Classic ‘Nights in White Satin’. We wanted to record a retro cover to add to our forthcoming debut album this Autumn.

Nights in White Satin is a song we’ve played live many times and has been a big influence on us musically. It embodies everything we love about music, mood, emotion and melody. In the video we enlisted our Lead guitarist’s dad, Marcel.

The narrative of the video is of an elderly gentleman (Marcel) dusting down his old records to reminisce the past, in particular, ‘Nights in White Satin’, but our version (pretending that ours was the original piece of course).

He takes it out of the old vinyl sleeve and puts it on the turn-table, closes his eyes and is taken back to the original video (ours, shot at Beaumont Park in Huddersfield), then ‘magically’, he is transported to the venue where he first watched us perform this song live.

Engrossed in the emotions and of all the memories of the past, the video then ends with his being transported back to his home, where the record ends.

We are all influenced by our parents’ record collections, Beatles, Eagles, Led Zep, Moody Blues, Cat Stevens, Fleetwood Mac, Stones etc plus the best of British. “This record and video is a nod to the past and those artists who got us into music at a young age!”
